Broadly, I’m interested in how cultural differences in ideal affect influence processes related to pursuing and understanding well-being. For instance, how does ideal affect feel shape what we want to do when we feel negative, or the types of support we hope to receive during tough times? Similarly, how does our cultural background and our ideal affect influence when we decide to offer social support, and how we choose to support others when they’re feeling down? Hopefully with greater insights into these questions, we can better connect with and care for the people around us!

Outside of the lab, I enjoy making art, mixing music, playing floorball, and searching for the best egg tarts in town!
